My Story
I didn’t grow up playing tennis.
I started at 28 — much later than most players.
I had no junior background. No early advantage.
Only work. Daily work.
That’s why I understand adult players so well.
I know exactly what it feels like to start from zero,
to struggle, to search for technique that finally makes sense.
Over the years, I trained on court almost every day,
studied modern tennis deeply, and competed regularly
At the amateur and semi-professional level,
I reached semifinals or better in nearly every local tournament.
One of the most important moments of my playing career
was winning a major tournament in Donetsk in 2005.
It brought together the strongest amateur and semi-pro players in Ukraine.
The final was played on a central stadium court with a scoreboard,
ball kids, and a full tournament atmosphere.
I won that tournament — and received a $1,000 prize for first place.
Along the way, my work as a coach was recognized internationally.
I was invited to present my lessons at TennisCon 7 and TennisCon 8 —
two of the largest online tennis conferences that bring together top coaches from around the world.
How I Learned
I learned from many coaches over the years, but one of the most influential teachers for me was Vladimir Voltchkov —
Wimbledon semifinalist and a highly respected expert in junior development.
I completed his specialized course on how to work with children,
and his approach strongly influenced the way I teach today:
calm learning, natural movement, and long-term development.
At the same time, I continued building my own method through daily on-court work —
experimenting, observing, correcting, and refining technique with real players of all ages.
That combination — strong foundation plus years of real coaching practice —
shaped the system I use today.
My Coaching Philosophy
I believe in natural movement, rhythm, balance, and clean fundamentals.
No overcomplicated theory.
No forcing the swing.
Correct start.
Correct finish.
And the middle takes care of itself.
My goal is simple:
to help players finally understand their technique and feel confident on court.
You can do it too.
